I believe that your mindset develops with your experience in life. There are four Academic mindsets: growth, fixed, belonging and believe in yourself. A growth mindset is where you know that you can grow your brain like a muscle. The traits of this mindset are that you embrace challenges, learn from criticism and that you find lesson and inspiration in the success of others. A fixed mindset is the opposite. Saying that your brain can’t grow the traits of a fixed mindset are avoiding challenge, feel threated by others success and you give up easily. A belonging mindset is more social. It’s a feeling that you are a part of something. The last is just as it sounds you believe that you can do well. My mindset in my early years was a fixed one. As long as I can remember school was easy for me. I didn’t study or take notes and I got good grades. I was able to breaze through class and homework. When I entered the 10th grade that’s when things started to get hard. It was than that I found out I had an IEP and my teachers held me at a different standard and I had a class just to do homework. I was shocked. I thought I was normal. I started to think that I was not good enough for school and I avoided it. However because of great friends who where in my classes and teachers my mindset changed to one of belonging. I started to go to class and ask my teachers and friends questions and asked for help. More and more I grew and then I started to want to be challenged. Now that I’m older I realized that it was easy because I was being taught the subject but wasn’t really learning. Now that I’m in college I know that I have a growth mindset. In The Perils of “Growth Mindset” Education: why we’re trying to fix our kids when we should be fixing the system By Alfie Kohn he states that a lot of schooling consists of students cramming facts into short term memory. Kohn citizens Dweck and others for saying if you have a positive mind then you can be successful.“…… to realize that no mindset is a magic elixir” In short he does not like how schools are now generic, conservative and are a competition for students and we don’t learn. I now see the faults in the way that I was taught. I do think Kohn is right in his arugment school needs to change. In Don’t Stay In School by Boyinaband he talks about how he’s childhood was wasted. What I agree with is that in schools we are not taught pratically. For example, we are not taught how to do ours taxes or even basic first aid. He also says its not the students but the parents who are to blame. Boyinaband’s responds it that is “If you taught the kids to parent that’s the problem solved then.” Meaning if we need to talk to kids about how to parent earlier. In Teachers, Parents Often Misuse Growth Mindset Research by Carol Dweck ,a psychology professor at Stanford University, says that the parents need to be more careful when praising children and if done poorly the child will develop a fixed mindset. Dweck wants you to praise the effort, tell your child to try harder and that you as the parent well keep a positive mindset. What Kohn thought Dweck was saying was to praise the work alone that wrong. What Dweck is sayed is to praise the effort alone is useless when there is no progess. What you want to do is praise the effort in child’s process and strategies.

Please compose a written or video reflection about yourself as a writer at the midpoint of the semester. Please do not write about the merits of the course or your course grade. Rather, focus on your writerly identity, your growth, your blogging...what you have learned thus far about yourself as a writer.
I worked with my brother and mom I thought it was a good apporach. The first thing we did was rewatch the movie for edavacnd. My mom noted so terms that I looked up and my brother helped me edit. The most difficult part of my writing process was the editing I was being lazy and I didn’t want to capitalize names. To overcome this obstacle was I put on caps lock. I started the day it was due im still in spring break mode so ive spent my time playing game watching videos. I don’t think it’s a good approach because I didn’t expand and explain most of my topics. I did this in my bed room it was fine.
"I'm not your weapon; Demon King or savior! I'm Rin Okumura! And when I'm done, I'm going to be the best Exorcist you ever laid your eyes on!"
Rin Okumura is the son of Satan and the elder, fraternal twin brother of Yukio Okumura. Studying as an Exwire at True Cross Academy, Rin desires to earn a Knight Meister and defeat his biological father. Rin has messy, jet-black hair (dark blue in the anime) that sweeps down in his pale skin and intense blue eyes. Since using Kurikara for the first time, Rin began exhibiting a number of physical traits that hint at his demonic nature in his human form such as prominent canine teeth, slightly pointed ears, and a black; fur-tufted tail just above his hips. In his Demon form, Rin gains two horn-like blue flames floating above his head, long elf-like ears, and slit-like red pupils while his irises remain a deep blue. The blue flames also blaze around other places of his body, mostly at the tip of his tail. Before going to the True Cross Academy, Rin's wardrobe consisted of a simple blue hoodie over a pink T-shirt and a pair of black jeans with chains on the side, giving the impression of a rebellious nature. He was also seen wearing a white jacket with big pockets and various decorations on it and a fingerless pair of black gloves. Because of how often he got into fights, Rin was seen with band-aids over his cheeks and fingers, wounds which were usually taken care of by Yukio. While in True Cross Academy, Rin wears the school's uniform, which consists of a white shirt, a loose necktie, a black jacket, and black pants. He is also seen carrying around Kurikara in a red sleeve over his back and shoulder with a black strap. In class, he is occasionally seen with his bangs pinned up so he can read his studies. Rin has a protective and supportive personality. Rin can be very violent and get into fights (possibly caused by his demon side), but really has a kind heart. He supports his friends and tries to encourage and help them. He also seems very protective of Yukio, and aims to surpass him one day. However, Yukio often finds Rin annoying due to his frequent impulsiveness and stupidity, which makes Yukio look down on Rin as much as up and makes it hard for Rin to be taken seriously by Yukio and even others, making Rin desperate to earn his brother's approval. He takes offence when Yukio accuses him of killing their father and pointing a gun at him, warning him not to insult him and saying that he isn't going to fight his brother. Although he generally hides it, Rin loved his adopted father a great deal, and has nothing but good things to say about him. He deeply regrets that the last thing they did was fight, which resulted in Satan taking him over. Much like Yukio, he takes any insult against him very seriously, and got really angry when Shura claimed he died like a coward. He also doesn't like people insulting Yukio, who he loves and greatly respects. Besides this, however, Rin is surprisingly even-tempered and laid-back, and rarely gets angry without a good reason. Rin is often shown to be able to relate to people easily and connect their feelings to his own, such as Shiemi Moriyama's grief over her grandmother and Ryūji Suguro's ambition to defeat Satan. He's also able to understand Shiemi's desperate desire for friends, as he grew up with almost no friends due to being constantly harassed by bullies and being called a demon. In general, he is often the first one to try and make people feel better if they're down. He's not the type of person for school or studying, though he was able to gain a junior high diploma and become an Exwire. Unlike his brother, Rin is immature, which leads other people into believing that he is younger than Yukio; it's been noted by several people that despite being twins, he and Yukio couldn't possibly be more different. He is headstrong (literally as well as metaphorically, as he was able to stop a charging demon by directly headbutting it in the forehead) and is often very open with his friends. However, when his friends found out about his demon heritage, they become afraid of him, thinking that he is unstable which could lead to a disaster, but they slowly got used to him and accepted him during the Kyoto Arc. Despite his usual hot-blooded, headstrong attitude, Rin is often shown to be more sensitive than he lets on, which is shown when he cries from reading an emotional drama manga. He is also shown to have a soft spot for animals. In the beginning of the manga, the reason he had gotten into a fight with Reiji Shiratori and his delinquent gang was because they were torturing pigeons. He also attempts (successfully) to tame Kuro without killing him after hearing that he was once Shiro's familiar. In his childhood, Rin led a normal human life, but his strength and temper seemed unnatural, so all the children and even teachers feared him and thought of him as a Demon, throwing slangs such as 'Demon child.' He got into fights often and injured all his classmates, and the only one who could stop him was Shiro. Rin always admired Shiro and wanted to become like him when he grew up. Rin always protected Yukio from bullies and encouraged him to chase his dream. Also in his youth, Rin learned how to cook, which became his natural talent. His cooking repertoire includes a wide variety of Japanese and Western foods. Prompt what is the purpose of the red door knob?

i loved the ending and the way his wife was acting amazing.Cole Sear: "Walking around like regular people. They don't see each other. They only see what they want to see. They don't know they're dead." Cole Sear: "She wanted me to tell you she saw you dance. She said, when you were little, you and her had a fight, right before your dance recital. You thought she didn't come see you dance. She did. She hid in the back so you wouldn't see. She said you were like an angel. She said you came to the place where they buried her. Asked her a question? She said the answer is... "Every day." What did you ask?" Malcolm Crowe: [after realizing the time has come for him to move on] "I think I can go now. Fifteen-year-old Emma Evans seemed like a pretty typical teenager until recently. She was restless, tired of the demands of her overprotective parents, sick of having to watch her younger brother all the time, hoping to get away somehow and have a life of her own. Suddenly, Emma's life changes in an unexpected way. She starts having frightening fits. Although her parents attribute her behavior to psychological problems, Emma senses that something much darker is hiding inside her, waiting for its time to break into the world. Desperate for answers, her parents have tried every medical test they can, but no real answers have surfaced. In the Evans' housing complex, the residents are getting frightened. Strange things have been happening that they don't understand. The source of the horror is in the Evans family. Their daughter Emma is getting sicker by the day. Desperately reaching for help, the family relies on a priest who begins to visit Emma every day. He begins hypnosis sessions with her in order to help her relax so she can better express what is troubling her. Although he wants to reassure the family that all is well, he too is getting more and more frightened. There is something dark and terrible inside Emma that won't be hiding for much longer. Do you think it was real? Do you think the devil was real? Did emma do the right thing? Are humans the real evil? I worked with the help of my older brother. I had email it to him. I do think it was the right approach. My brother helped with spelling and saw the thing that I had missed. The most difficult part in my writing process was getting the words out of my head and organizing. Other teachers have say that I have good idea but I always forgot the sentence that I was typing. I don’t know why this is happening maybe I just need to train my brain more. I need to find a way to fix this maybe write all my ideas on paper and then have my mom type and print what I said; then I re-type it. I started the 22th it was not a good approach but life happened. I also had a lot on my mind. I did this in the basement of my house. I think it was an better approach this time. Because I didn’t hear our naberiors kids were quiet. So this time I don’t have be out of the house. I choose to write about your real life experices molded your mindset. I think this is true because I has had all 4 of the mindsets. I had dinner before I did this, I was also playing music lastly I was taking breaks in between.
